Dancing With the Stars fans are no longer excited about the show’s upcoming 33rd season after learning that the episode, set to air November 26, will be three hours long– meaning the show is repeating a move from Season 32 that some feel takes away from the honor of making it to the show’s finale. Fans have been less than thrilled at various points this season, especially with the judges , though they have grown to love celebs like the since-ousted Jenn Tran , who admitted the show helped her get past her explosive Bachelorette breakup. There has also been building excitement over the show’s upcoming landmark 500th episode .

Following the reveal that it would be three hours, fans quickly deduced that it meant that like Season 32, five couples would dance in the finale. However, fans weren’t overly thrilled by the news, as they admitted on Reddit that they didn’t like it the first time.

“Ugh am I the only one who doesn’t like the idea of this? While it is sad to see people go during the Semi’s, top 3-4 has WAY more novelty & excitement than a whole a– 5 people being there. It’s called the ‘finale’ for a reason,” one wrote. “Ugh, I hated the 5-person finale last season, it was so freaking dumb,” another said.

“5 people is almost 40% of the whole cast, like what’s even the point of a finale then? Even 4 people feels like too much, I wish they’d do 3.” “Sorry but I think this is lame if true,” another shared. “5 couples is just outrageous.

It makes the final feel way less special, less prestigious. The barrier for entry is way too wide and easy. It’s like the show is weirdly afraid to eliminate someone right before the finals .

It's giving ‘participation trophy’ energy. I need the show to stop being chicken s—s and start eliminating more couples before the finals. Two seasons in a row now.

I hope this year we get to see a few minutes of the celebration for once,” one said. However, another pointed out that a three hour finale didn’t necessarily mean five couples. “Just to clarify, this doesn’t mean it’s a done deal that it’s a 5-couple finale.

All this confirms is that 3 hours are allocated on finale night. It could very well be 1 hour of recap and 2 hours of competition with 4 couples. We don’t know yet how this is being broken down.

” There are currently six teams left in the competition. They are Danny Amendola, Joey Graziadei , Dwight Howard, Chandler Kinney, Ilona Maher and Stephen Nedoroscik. The top performers on the leaderboard are Chandler and partner Brandon Armstrong, who have an average score of 29.

25, Joey and Jenna Johnson with a 29.13, and Danny and Witney Carson with a 27. The bottom three remaining couples are Stephen and Rylee Arnold with a 26.

75, Dwight and Daniella Karagach with a 25.5 and finally, Ilona and Alan Bersten with a 25.38 average.
