Fans of Dancing With the Stars have been wondering about the status of relationships between two of the couples who performed this season — and they may have gotten answers as the two teams were paired up in a dance-off of sorts during the Season 33 finale. As the teams that didn’t make it to the finale all came back to perform one last time during the final episode, the show played up what appeared to be happening behind-the-scenes between Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko and Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber. As fans picked up on PDA moments for both, and watched on social media since their eliminations for clues about their “romances,” they also wanted to know if they were really in relationships or not.
However, a dance to the song Reunited by Peaches and Herb wound up giving fans an unexpected twist to the “love” stories, as both couples took to the floor. Fans quickly reacted as they pitted the two against one another, and some complained over the time spent playing it up as well. “NOT THE RIVALRY OF THE SHOWMANCES!!!!! WHO ATE HARDER?” one person asked on X “They did not just have the two showmances dane to that song i’m crying,” another said.
“THE SONG CHOICE FOR BROOKS/GLEB AND JENN/SASHA,” a fourth added. Others called out the dance for the the ways the two performed — with some slamming the decision to have them dance together and not give Jenn and Sasha their own routine.
