Vadodara: A 60-year-old man was mowed down by a dumper on the Kalali flyover here on Monday morning. Rafiqkhan Pathan, a resident of Tandalja, was killed on the spot. The accident occurred when Pathan was driving his two-wheeler towards Squirrel Circle.
The dumper rammed into his vehicle, causing him to lose his balance. Police arrested Narendra Patanvadia, who was driving the truck. Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) and traffic police sensitized all the drivers of dump trucks working on the Vishwamitri river de-silting project.
