The route includes the Glenn, Military Road, Wellington Road, and runs parallel to Chesterfield Avenue up to the Phoenix Monument. From there, it circles the playing fields and returns to the Phoenix Monument via Acers Road, using Chesterfield Avenue to reach Mountjoy Cross. It then turns right to re-enter the Glenn before heading back to Furze Road and taking a right turn towards the finish line.

There will be a number of water stations across the route. The first one is at Mountjoy Cross just before the first km marker. The second station is near Ordnance Survey Road at the third km.
