Dry through the day with rain picking up later

It initially looks like another mild day throughout the region. We'll get a good amount of sunshine through the late morning and early afternoon, with highs in the upper 40s. However, as we head through the evening, the weather focus will turn to the system from the south.

Showers begin soon after sunset and continue on Tuesday for much of the day. The rain will again keep highs in the 40s, with a bit of a blustery east breeze through the afternoon. Any precipitation that falls will remain rather light and should not accumulate much. We will continue to stay slightly breezy on Wednesday, with the chance for off-and-on flurries and temperatures staying in the 30s for the rest of the week..
