Thirty-two-year-old Daniel McGroary was found to have an excessive amount of Benzoylecgonine in his blood when stopped at the A68 Shell garage in Jedburgh on October 30 last year. He was also fined £600. As McGroary, of Lockerbie, is already in custody on another matter he requested no time to pay and received 28 days in prison as an alternative.
