Driver caught speeding at more than 120mph on A14

Another driver has been caught speeding on the A14, this time near Higham, between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.

A driver who has been clocked going over 120mph on the A14 is the third motorist caught speeding at a triple-digit speed in a week. The incident saw the vehicle being clocked at 121mph on the road near Higham, between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket , on Wednesday. Police say the vehicle was captured on speed cameras and a postal notice of intended prosecution has been sent to the registered owner of the vehicle.

Those drivers were also notified and summoned to court. Police are warning that this type of driving is extremely dangerous and that speeding is one of the 'fatal four' offences which pose a risk to drivers' lives.
