In the lead-up to Paul George inking a four-year max deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, there were reports of the Golden State Warriors pursuing the star forward . The cap-strapped Warriors needed George to opt in to the final year of his contract with the Clippers and seek a trade to the Bay Area.
