Dramatic scenes of seafront following heavy rainfall

As we get used to the winter cloudy days, a rare appearance of sunshine was captured on a Sussex seafront. Argus Camera Club snapper David Bolton was met with some great views of Brighton from his stroll on Shoreham beach earlier this week. In a rare show of sun during a yellow weather warning, David was able to capture some clear photos of Brighton seafront as rain clouds were parted above it.

Though the clouds were looming over the English Channel it made for some dramatic scenes. Waves crashing on to the rocks, a baby seagull searching for its next meal in the water and a boat seemingly ready to face the incoming weather. We are hoping for some fantastic pictures of the snow by our excellent Argus Camera Club members to feature in the paper later this week.
