Srinagar, Nov 11: The J-K government has appointed Dr Parvinder Singh Sudan as the Director Animal Husbandry Kashmir. The Govt. order issued vide No 512 JK(APD) of 2024 Dt: 08/112024 directed Dr Sudan to assume the charge of Director Animal Husbandry department Kashmir with immediate effect.
The order also reads about holding the charge of Chief Executive officer Livestock Development Board and Joint Director Institute of Animal Health and Biological Products Kashmir additionally by the incumbent. Dr. Sudan, an Alumni of Bombay Veterinary College joined the department of Animal Husbandry as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon on in 1989 and saw his designation going up to Director after serving the department in different capacities including Joint Director Research, an official statement said.
As per the statement, Dr Sudan is well known among the veterinaries of Jammu and Kashmir, courtesy Sudan’s administrative approach and scientific knowledge..
