Vehari - District Police Officer (DPO) Vehari Muhammad Afzal continued to hold daily open courts at the District Police Office to ensure public access to police and prompt justice on merit. During the open court sessions, citizens personally met DPO Muhammad Afzal and shared their grievances and complaints. The DPO attentively listened to each case and issued on-the-spot directives to relevant officers via phone for immediate resolution of the issues.
In several cases, the DPO directed investigating officers to submit reports along with relevant evidence without delay, ensuring transparency and timely investigations.Speaking on the occasion, DPO Muhammad Afzal stated that, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, there is a strict zero-tolerance policy on crimes against women. All such cases are being dealt with promptly and firmly.
