Unfortunately, we have another restaurant to add to the ever-growing list of closures in Vancouver. This time, the gluten-free restaurant and cafe Heirs Pears has closed its doors. Signs on the windows of the store indicate that the restaurant closed on February 25, 2025, citing an increase in rent and food and goods costs as the reason for the closure.
“We thank you for your love and support over the years — we will cherish the great memories,” added the restaurant. Additionally, a notice of seizure and man in possession was posted on the restaurant windows, which states a total of $43,805.85 is owed, which has been repaid in the form of all the contents in the unit.
Dished Dished Heirs Pears opened its doors in 2018 and was best known for its 100% gluten-free options and weekend brunches. While the store has officially closed, a message on its website indicates that the closure is temporary and that it will be moving to an unspecified location. Additionally, the restaurant said that starting March 3, customers can continue ordering through its delivery partners.
“Stay tuned for updates on our new location—we can’t wait to welcome you back in person soon!” shared the restaurant. Heirs Pears Address: 605 Nelson St., Vancouver Instagram Still hungry? Discover Dished Vancouver on TikTok.
