Doug Emhoff clashes with his own law firm over Trump fallout

Another law firm has made a $100 million dollar deal with Donald Trump and this time, a well-known figure is a partner.

Barack Obama recently expressed concerns about law firms being targeted by the Trump administration and it appears the former second husband ’s own law firm is the latest mark. Doug Emhoff joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Jauary and urged the group not to work with Donald Trump , it's being reported, and rather than heeding his warning, the practice agreed to provide at least $100 million in pro bono legal services, according to insiders. Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP reportedly agreed to the deal to avoid an executive order targeting the firm.
