Assassin's Creed Shadows I am now 50+ hours into Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and I am still learning new things as I play , including something that was consistently confusing as I reached this amount of playtime. What was the point of continuing to get Knowledge Points if you already hit the max level, 6, for skill upgrades? I figured it was just getting the 500 XP or so from completing those mini-events, meditation, shrines, etc. But I was wrong, there is actually a reason for this, and max level is not 6 after all.

As it turns out, there is a secret, passive skill tree that uses extra knowledge points and serves as a dump for your extra skill points which you will eventually have. You can find it on the far left side of the six-list skill trees that you are normally putting points into. It’s here: Assassin's Creed Shadows I mean, I’ve been looking at that for this entire time, I just thought it was a place that displayed your Knowledge Rank and points.

But it’s also a literal button that will take you to the secret, if not just really well-hidden, passive skill tree. That looks like this: FEATURED | Frase By Forbes TM Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Assassin's Creed Shadows Getting ranks 6, 7 and 8 with Knowledge Points unlocks rows of passives that you can sink Mastery points into if you’re running out of places to put them in the normal skill trees. Given that when I change my main weapons, I zap all the points from the ones I’m not using, and how big this game is, you will in fact have a lot of extra points eventually.

These icons let you slowly increase different stats, pretty much all the ones in the game, ranging from armor damage to tool damage to affliction build-up and really anything you can think of. It’s a slow gain, but it’s free extra damage/health if you throw points in there. I would probably not recommend doing this until you have fully maxed some of your key normal trees, as completely filling them out can do things like give you 65% more weapon damage, but after that? Yeah, I’d start populating this.

And like the other skill trees, if you don’t like what you’ve invested in, you can instantly refund the points on the page for free. Like many things in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, I don’t think was explained very well, if it was explained at all. But yeah, don’t miss it once you get into the late game.
