Don’t expect Mark Zuckerberg to save social media

Mark Zuckerberg's decision to do away with fact-checkers on Facebook and Instagram is not a solution to the problem of centralized power over speech, and congressional action is needed to dilute the platforms' power and promote a more diverse and resilient social media ecosystem.
