20, 1963, to Ardine Marie Boudreaux and Ernie Larry Lowery. Donna lived her life with a joyful spirit, embracing the motto “Live, Laugh, Love” and making every day a beautiful one. She had a true passion for quilting and sewing, working as a seamstress for multiple shops throughout her life.



Donna was devoted to her family, and she had the honor of being present for the births of nearly all of her grandchildren. She was a beloved mother, nana, and friend, and her infectious love and kindness will be deeply missed. A devout Christian, Donna found comfort and strength in her faith, and she touched the lives of everyone around her with her warmth and compassion.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband of 26 years, Michael David Chimeno; children, Holly Schouest, Hailey and Casey Gary, Dustin Schouest, Shane and Hilda Chimeno, and Noah Chimeno; grandchildren, Rylan, Milo, Abby, Joseph, Ava, Jaxon, Addie, and Luca; mother, Ardine Marie Boudreaux Lowery; mother and father-in-law, Lorna and Warren Schindler; sisters, Diane and Gerald Comeaux, and Karen and Kendall Leger. She is welcomed into heaven by her daughter Heidi Schouest; father, Ernie Larry Lowery, and brother, David Lowery. Funeral Services will be Saturday, Nov.

16, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.

Visitation will begin on Saturday at 12 p.m. till the start of the service.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. In honor of Donna’s spirit, we encourage all who knew and loved her to “Dance like no one is watching.” She will be remembered forever for her vibrant personality, boundless love, and the joy she brought to those around her.
