But there are still a number of big-name games launching in January, and there’ll be some you’ll want to pick up. Tales of Graces f Remastered 7 Tales of Graces is the third classic game making its comeback Credit: Bandai Namco Tales of Graces is the twelfth mainline entry in the long-running Tales series that was originally released for the Wii. The action role-playing game, and its PS3 port Tales of Graces f, are well known for their touching story and engaging combat. It’s finally making its comeback in a shiny new remastered version that fans have long asked for.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins 7 Dynasty Warriors: Origins is the most ambitious game in the series Credit: Koei Tecmo Speaking of long-running series, Dynasty Warriors has been around since 1997, but the last mainline release was back in 2018. The musou series pits you against armies of enemies as you hack and slash your way through the hordes to claim each map.
Origins hopes to be able to place 10k enemies in the game at once for the biggest Dynasty Warriors game ever. Dynasty Warriors: Origins will launch on January 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles 7 Star Wars makes our fourth classic comeback this month Credit: Aspyr Taking in all of the Star Wars nostalgia, Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles is a remastered version of the 2000 original.
A mixture of a platformer and beat ‘em up you can play as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia, or Plo Koon. There are also other Jedi and Sith characters you can unlock and play as, as you complete the game. Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles will be released on January 23 for PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Sniper Elite: Resistance 7 Sniper Elite: Resistance brings back the gory kill cam Credit: Rebellion Sniper Elite is a shooter series with a difference, as you won’t be taking on armies of enemies head-on. Instead, you take up your sniper rifle and try to take people out from your vantage point. Known for its gory X-ray vision of each shot, Sniper Elite: Resistance is sure to focus on the accuracy of each kill.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector 7 Citizen Sleeper 2 mixes RPG with tabletop games Credit: Jump Over The Age Citizen Sleeper took the gaming world by storm in 2022, with its mix of RPG and tabletop mechanics where life and death could be down to the roll of the dice. Now the sequel is here, promising a new story from the Citizen Sleeper universe, and different ways to spend and manage your time.
