President-elect Donald Trump revealed his real thoughts about his son Barron Trump 's Slovenian accent when he was little in a recently resurfaced clip . The now-viral video shows Trump making his comments during a segment for a 2010 Larry King Live episode. It gave viewers at the time a behind-the-scenes look at what Trump and his wife Melania Trump 's life was like with Barron , who was then four years old, at Trump Tower.

Kamala Harris's ex-Democrat rival endorses Donald Trump after major U-turn Trump's shock pick for attorney general once faced a sex trafficking probe In the clip, Barron is seen talking about his Louis Vuitton suitcase, going to school, and spending time with his mom in Trump's office. However, what's really caught viewers' attention was Barron's Slovenian accent. Melania was born and raised in Novo Mesto, Slovenia.

"I like my suitcase," Barron says, as his father looked at him adoringly from his desk. Apparently, Trump is proud of his son's accent, too, something that he revealed during the interview portion of the Larry King segment. "He has an accent," King commented during the interview, to which Melania replied with a laugh: "He does, he spends most of the time with me.

" King then asked Trump what he thought of that, which the future president responded with: "I think it's great, anything he does is okay with me." "He speaks three languages, actually," Melania added, as Trump said Barron was a "smart one." It's unclear what those three languages are, but two of them are likely Slovenian and English.

Trump assures his son: “You can do reading, writing and arithmetic”. Barron is now 18 years old, studying as a freshman at New York University's Stern School of Business.

He's mostly stayed out of the spotlight, but Melania has divulged some details about her parenting philosophies in the past. During a late October appearance on Fox & Friends, she was asked by an audience member to share any "words of wisdom" she might have for "young moms who are working hard to raise children in such a challenging society." Melania gave some heartwarming advice to the audience member: "Lead with love and take a child as individual.

We are all different. Be cautious and be very loving." She also stressed the importance of taking time for yourself if you're struggling as a parent.

"Also make sure that you, as a mother, are healed so you don't put issues and trauma [onto] your child," she added. Barron has become popular in recent months for his involvement in his father’s 2024 presidential campaign. He has been touted as his father’s podcast adviser and is partly the reason for Trump’s astonishing political comeback.

Trump made major progress with younger voters after appearing on a range of popular podcasts, including with Theo Von and Joe Rogan, after his 18-year-old son advised him to. Conservative commentator and comedian Alex Stein said Barron pushed his father to “think outside the box” by urging him to appear on “untraditional media.” “I think the best judgement of a man’s character is how well Donald Trump ’s children are doing,” Mr Stein told Sky News host Rita Panahi following the election.

“His son Baron is a genius for basically putting his campaign over the top.”.
