
An exclusive poll reveals that a significant portion of Americans support President Donald Trump 's executive order to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization . The Democracy Institute Poll, in partnership with Daily Express US, found that 44 percent of likely U.S.
voters approve of the plan, while 43 percent oppose it. Another 13 percent remain undecided. An Executive Order signed on January 20, 2025 accused WHO of "mishandling" the COVID-19 pandemic "and other global health crises." It also alleged that WHO failed to "adopt urgently needed reforms" and showed an "inability to demonstrate independence from the inappropriate political influence of WHO member states." Trump’s approval rating in the poll stands at 52 percent, with 45 percent disapproving of his leadership.
The poll also examined other executive actions, including border security and energy policies. A majority, 56 percent, support declaring an emergency at the U.S.
