" According to Trump, he also spoke with President Biden after the attempted shooting. "He was very nice that he called up to make sure that I was OK," he said adding that Biden asked him whether he "needed more people on my detail." Biden later confirmed this when he told members of the press that the Secret Service "needs more help.

" Biden also commented saying that he was glad that Trump was "ok." Police are still investigating the nature of the attempted assassination attempt but have identified North Carolina native Ryan Routh, 58, as the man who aimed an at the former president as he went about his game. Shortly after the Secret Service agents opened fire, Routh allegedly fled the scene and attempted to speed away in a black Nissan.
