Donald Trump is opening up about his future in politics after this year. The 78-year-old former president revealed in a new interview that if he loses the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election , he does not plan to run again. “No I don’t,” he said on Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson on Sunday (September 22), via Deadline , when asked if he would run again if he loses this year.

“That will be it. I don’t see that at all. Hopefully we are going to be successful,” he added.

Trump ‘s statement comes on the heels of his first and apparent only debate with Vice President Kamala Harris earlier this month. He has since said he won’t debate her again . In addition to being the Republican nominee, Donald is also facing legal issues as he was found guilty in hush money trial earlier this year.

His sentencing was delayed until after the November election. Just last week, there was an apparent second assassination attempt on Donald ‘s life at a golf course in West Palm Beach, Fla..
