straight to his face. While speaking to a gaggle of reporters crowded on a tarmac at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland March 14, one of them moved their large, fuzzy windscreen-covered microphone, causing it to bump into the U.S.
leader's lips and past his left cheek. Trump, who was asked a question about the Gaza Strip at the time, immediately gave one of the cameras the side-eye and then raised his eyebrows and made a prediction. "She just made television tonight," he commented several seconds after the moment of impact.
"She just became a big story tonight, right? Did you see that?" The mic operator could be heard apologizing after bumping the president, a moment that has since gone viral . The person has not been identified. E! News has reached out to the White House for comment about the incident and has not heard back.

The president allowed the 4-year-old, nicknamed X, to board the aircraft first and then got his foot caught on one of the steps as he followed behind. Musk, one of Trump's top advisors, has brought X to the White House several times, including in February, when the two joined the president in the Oval Office for a press conference about the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The event also yielded a viral moment when X stood behind the Resolute Desk between his dad and Trump and picked his nose . The U.S.
leader, who has previously described himself as a " germophobe ," didn’t share his reaction to the encounter but did praise Elon's son at the event, calling him a "great guy" and "high-IQ individual." A week later, Trump sent the Resolute Desk away to be "lightly refinished" and replaced it with another historic piece of White House furniture, the C&O desk. The president, who didn’t elaborate on the reason for the switch, added that this was a "beautiful, but temporary replacement.
