Donald Trump's former director of communications, Anthony Scaramucci, has made bold claims about the ex-president's mental state, cautioning that he is "unwell" and warning Keir Starmer to tread carefully in their impending meeting. Scaramucci, aged 61, initially backed Trump before departing the White House and turning into a vocal detractor. In light of Trump's attempts at a political comeback, Scaramucci has stressed the possible danger he poses.

Voicing his concerns on the 'Off Air...

with Jane and Fi' podcast, Scaramucci said: "Trump's obviously got something wrong with him. I would say to Keir Starmer the guy is unwell and he's surrounded by willing sycophants that want to pretend that he's not unwell." He continued with advice for the British Prime Minister: "You'll do yourself and your country a service if you are polite to him and you give him some gratuitous flattering, but you try and stay away from him if you can.

" Scaramucci added a stark warning: "Don't get too close to his orbit because he'll end up eating you. He harms everybody in his path, he's not well liked, he's not well liked by his family members, not well liked by his staff, but there they are because he's a powerful person. "I just would tell Keir Starmer [to] stay away from him because he's a dangerous guy and in a couple years he'll burn himself out, the United Kingdom will exist and Donald Trump will be long in our rear view mirror," reports the Express .

To illustrate how unwell he believes Trump to be, Scaramucci highlighted the recent video posted on the President's Truth Social platform that featured an AI generated vision of Gaza owned and developed by Trump. He explained: "I don't know if you saw that artificial intelligence Trump Gaza video that he posted on his own Truth Social network and so anybody who looks at that, whether you're a clinical profiler for MI6, or the CIA..

. "I mean you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that something's wrong with Trump. It's like if someone in British football broke their leg and the bone was sticking out, you don't have to be an orthopaedic surgeon to know that there's a broken bone.

" Should Trump choose to respond to Scaramucci's latest claims, it wouldn't be the first time the duo got into an online spat. In 2019, relatively fresh from leaving the White House, Trump took to what was then Twitter to attack Scaramucci. He said: "Anthony Scaramucci, who was quickly terminated (11 days) from a position that he was totally incapable of handling, now seems to do nothing but television as the all time expert on 'President Trump'.

"Like many other so-called television experts, he knows very little about me other than the fact that this Administration has probably done more than any other Administration in its first 2 1⁄2 years of existence. Anthony, who would do anything to come back in, should remember the only reason he is on TV, and it's not for being the Mooch!". Scaramucci also explained why he turned on Trump after leaving his role as director of communications.

In 2020, he told The Guardian: "Once he attacked my wife, I took the gloves off because you're not allowed to attack my family members or my wife. "He knew my wife and I were having marital issues in 2017 and he still went after her on the presidential Twitter feed, so he's a low life. Once he did that, then I just started eviscerating him.
