Kelly, saw Sutherland portraying the affluent father of Nicole Kidman's character as she grappled with her husband ( Hugh Grant ) being charged with murder. Sutherland appeared dapper in a black tuxedo and bowtie during the Zoom call, which was necessitated by COVID restrictions. His shoulder-length white hair was loose, complementing a similarly white mustache on his bespectacled face.



He discussed the mindset that had led to his "steady stream of success" during the call, explaining how he maintained his "greatest happiness." Sutherland explained: "I can only say-it sounds awful and really pretentious-but it's always been the pursuit of truthfulness, the truthfulness of the character, and the joy of discovering that, that's been the great happiness of my life."
