Dom Izzo's 2024 FCS Top 25 Poll - Through Week Two

Idaho and North Dakota score impressive wins and soar up the poll because of that this week.

The second week of the 2024 FCS regular season saw a pair of impressive wins from Idaho and North Dakota, a shocking loss by a former traditional power in Eastern Washington and a couple of FBS upsets. The top of the poll stayed the same as South Dakota State overpowered Incarnate Word in the second half for a 45-24 win, in what wasn't a clean win for the Jackrabbits. North Dakota State's dominant win over Tennessee State and Montana State's blowout over Maine were expected, while Idaho beat Wyoming for the first time in program history, as the Vandals split their first two games against FBS opponents.

ADVERTISEMENT UND rallied from a 24-7 halftime deficit to beat Montana 27-24 and secure a huge for Bubba Schweigert's team. The Fighting Hawks don't leave the state of North Dakota until the middle of October, they have a chance to string some wins together over the next few weeks. Southern Utah picked up an FBS win as well, beating UTEP in overtime to give the Thunderbirds their biggest football win in over a decade.

Here's my weekly poll that I submit for the Stats Perform website. Digest. Debate.
