Doireann Garrihy has teased an exciting announcement as she prepares to take her podcast global. Reminiscing on The Laughs Of My Life live shows last year, Doireann hinted at additional dates and potentially taking the show abroad. The Laughs Of Your Life LIVE took over the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on 12 and 13 April 2023, with a number of fans eager to see Doireann hit the stage once more.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Doireann shared an image from the Bord Gais, hinting at what’s to come. ‘The Laughs of your Life Live Dublin. Think it’s time to try another country.
..’ she wrote.
‘Chat to you tomorrow,’ she added, teasing an impending announcement. Career news aside, Doireann is currently enjoying the first few weeks of marital bliss following her honeymoon. The Dancing with the Stars presenter married her comedian beau Mark Mehigan on November 29 at the stunning K Club in Kildare.
The newlyweds wasted no time in celebrating their marriage, heading away for their honeymoon in the days following the nuptials. Having returned to Ireland on Sunday, Doireann was full of excitement as she got into the festive spirit. Taking to social media on Monday morning, the TV presenter urged anyone still deliberating their wedding date to opt for an end-of-November wedding branding it a ‘fantastic time to get married.
’ ‘I’ll tell you why,’ she said, ‘Going away straight after the wedding and then coming back to peak December is a fabulous thing — like, having a two week run in to Christmas now, rather than the depths of January or just a random time of the year where you’re like: “Well that’s the end of that.” She added that you can ‘milk the sh** out of it for another two and a half weeks.’.
