The Pittsburgh Steelers have finally added another dynamic receiving threat, as the team acquired wide receiver DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks for a 2025 second-round pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter . Pittsburgh is also signing Metcalf to a five-year extension worth $150 million as part of the deal, per Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz. The Steelers have been in pursuit of another star receiver opposite George Pickens for almost a year.
The team struck out on Brandon Aiyuk last offseason and also missed out on Davante Adams during the 2024 trade deadline. But general manager Omar Khan has now landed a two-time Pro Bowl playmaker in Pittsburgh for the long term.
