Jake Paul's fierce rival KSI was 'disgusted' by the YouTuber's fight with Mike Tyson. Paul and Tyson duked it out in front of 70,000 bewildered fans at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in what will go down in history as one of the most-watched boxing fights of all time. Tyson looked every one of his 58 years in the ring as he laboured to a unanimous decision loss while Paul, 27, appeared to be holding back throughout the sad affair.
In the end, the scorecards read 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 in his favour. Thankfully, Tyson survived to see the final bell. Most felt the faded undisputed heavyweight champion was destined to get knocked out before the fight but he wore Paul's shots well and went the distance for the first time in his 57-fight pro career.
KSI was a vocal critic of the contest before the event and his mind didn't change after sitting through eight rounds of Paul jabbing Tyson's head off. "What a sad watch," he wrote on his Instagram story. "Whole thing was sad.
"Mike is twice the age of Jake Paul ffs. It was never ever gonna be close. "I can't believe that this elderly abuse was even sanctioned.
Just disgusting." This comes after KSI wrote on X on the eve of the Netflix showdown: "Jake Paul will knock out Mike Tyson . "This will not be close at all.
Boxing is a young man's game and Mike is 58 years old. "They're sending a lamb to the slaughter and it's disgusting." KSI and Paul have been on a collision course to face each other since the inception of influencer boxing at the turn of the decade but as of yet, nothing has come to fruition.
The main sticking point is the weight for the fight, with KSI mostly operating at 185lbs while Paul is a full-blown cruiserweight (200lbs). Paul recently made a final catchweight offer of 192.5lbs, which is yet to receive a response.
On his podcast, he stated: "KSI, you want 185lbs. I want 200lbs. "I didn't want to budge.
You didn't want to budge. "Mr Beast said: 'Why don't we just meet in the middle?' Good point, Mr Beast. "I'm down.
192.5lbs and that's my final, final offer. He's probably just going to say: 'I'm focused on my music career.
