McDonald's fans have been sent into a frenzy after spotting a previously discontinued item in a UK supermarket. Since being taken off the menu after a brief return in 2024, customers have called on the fast food giant to bring The McRib back. These prayers seem to have been answered after savvy shoppers claimed to spot the pork burger in a British store.

Currently, there are only 13 of these shops across the country with stock in these locations changing daily. Speaking with The Metro newspaper, a Company Shop employee said: "We often get surplus food in from some of the big fast food chains.
" They added: "We’ve had stuff from McDonald’s, KFC, and Greggs." Recently an Instagram account going by the handle of @uknewestfoods claimed to have found McRib patties being sold there. The sighting was shared on social media (Image: PA) The clip appears to show packs of 10 frozen pork patties being sold for £2.
50. However, there is no McDonald's branding with a sign above the products only referring to them as "legendary rib patties". While this McRib sighting has not yet been confirmed, it would make sense as they were only recently pulled from the menu.
