Travis Kelce is arguably the greatest tight end of all-time, but he has interests outside of football as well. Kelce is officially now dabbling in acting. He's been cast in a sequel of Happy Gilmore , and made his debut in director Ryan Murphy's new FX show Grotesquerie, which will premiered this week.

In a virtual press conference this week, Murphy detailed what it was like working with Kelce, who he met for the first time early in the NFL offseason. Murphy also told reporters that Kelce approached his new side project with the same intensity he does his football career, even hiring an acting coach to improve. “He showed up off book.

He knew everybody’s lines,” Murphy said, via Variety . “He was so professional. He was so committed.

He kept saying to me, ‘I’m real coachable, coach me, coach me.’ So I did, and he ended up being a delight. I would love to continue working with him on this and other things.

I cannot say enough about him as a leader. He’s just the kindest, sweetest. .

.. Everything you think about him is true.

As for Kelce's NFL career, he's gotten off to a slow start this season, catching only eight passes for 69 yards in three games. He's still contributing as a blocker though, and we know from the past that Kelce has a tendency of playing his best late in the season and in the playoffs. Now 3-0, the Chiefs will take on the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday, Sept.
