On December 13, Allu Arjun was arrested after the stampede at a Hyderabad event on December 4, which resulted in the death of a woman and left her son critically injured. Following the incident, the police registered a case against the Sandhya Theatre management, Allu Arjun, and his security team. In the wake of the tragedy, the actor announced a ₹25 lakh financial aid for the victim’s family.
Allu Arjun has also filed a petition to quash the FIR and requested a stay on all proceedings, including his arrest. He was taken into custody on December 13 by a team from the Chikkadpally Police Station. Popular tracks such as Patiala Peg, 5 Taara, and Case have been specifically banned, with organisers also warned against rephrasing the lyrics to bypass restrictions.
