Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati concert in Delhi has hit an unexpected sour note, but not for the reasons you'd think. While fans were eagerly awaiting the Indian leg of his tour set to begin on October 26, 2024, things took a sharp turn after pre-sale tickets mysteriously vanished quicker than his dance moves in a music video. The pre-sale tickets went live on September 12, and blink-and-you-miss-it, they were gone in mere minutes—leaving many fans ticketless and fuming.
Among the most vocal was Riddhima Kapoor, a law student from Delhi who decided that when life doesn’t give you concert tickets, you serve a legal notice. Yes, you heard that right. She has sent a formal legal notice to the concert’s organizers, accusing them of unfair practices during the ticket sale.

But, as fate (or some sneaky tactics) would have it, tickets were already available at 12:59 PM, giving a few lucky fans a head start. The result? A ticketing chaos where hopefuls like Riddhima were left high and dry as tickets sold out faster than you could say “Born to Shine.
” Riddhima isn't going down quietly. She claimed that not only did she specifically get an HDFC credit card to snag those early-bird tickets, but the abrupt shutdown of the window at 12:59 PM left her—and countless others—ticketless. The legal notice alleges that the quick sell-out may not have been a fluke, hinting at potential manipulation, scalping, and artificial inflation of demand.
According to her, this is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. As Diljit prepares to hit cities like Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, and Bangalore post-Delhi, the concert drama is already giving fans more plot twists than a Bollywood film. One thing’s for sure: this tour might just be lit in ways no one saw coming.
