Earlier this week it was reported that Dilip Joshi and Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma producer Asit Modi had a physical altercation on the sets of the show. The actor, who plays the lead role of Jethalal Champaklal Gada, has now released a statement shutting down these rumours. In his statement, Joshi claimed that he was sad to see such negative rumours being circulated about him and the show.
