SUBANG JAYA: The Digital Ministry will provide digital devices and accessories to those affected by the recent gas pipeline blaze in Putra Heights here.

SUBANG JAYA: The Digital Ministry will provide digital devices and accessories to those affected by the recent gas pipeline blaze in Putra Heights here.The aid includes 100 laptops, 100 tablets, 100 smartphones and 500 power banks.Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo, while visiting the Putra Heights mosque temporary this morning, said many of the victims' devices were damaged during the blast.

"I was informed that the digital devices of many victims were either lost or damaged in the incident," he said in a press statement.Those in need can apply for the devices starting today through Kota Kemuning assemblyman YB S. Preakas's office, which is helping with the distribution.



Gobind said MyDigital Corporation will work with the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation and the Menteri Besar's Office to set up an online platform with updates and information for the victims."We sincerely hope for the swift recovery of the injured and that those who have experienced losses will receive the necessary support during this difficult time."© New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd.
