Hip-Hop journalist Elliott Wilson claims that Sean Diddy Combs once gave him permission to ask about his alleged involvement in Tupac Shakur's murder . Wilson, who is the Editorial Director of Hip-Hop Journalism at UPROXX Studios, recalled a 2015 encounter with Combs on a recent podcast episode. The encounter took place almost a decade before Combs was arrested Monday night and charged with sex trafficking .

"I was kicking it with him for a day or two on-and-off, just talking to him and stuff. He acted like he finally wanted to give me an interview," Wilson said. You gotta ask me if I killed 2Pac.' And then he walked out of the room." Wilson interpreted Combs' statement as digging for "redemption" rather than an admission of guilt.

Combs has long denied involvement in Shakur's 1996 murder. In 2011, he told the L.A.

Weekly that allegations of his involvement were "pure fiction and completely ridiculous." Recently, Duane Keefe D Davis, the only suspect charged in Shakur's killing, claimed Combs offered him $1 million to kill Shakur and Suge Knight in the 1990s. DON'T MISS.
