Sean “Diddy” Combs could be staying in jail for a long time as a New York federal judge just denied him bail and ordered him to remain detained until trial. It was just revealed that the 54-year-old rapper has been charged on the following three counts : racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking of children by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy faces a possible sentence of life in prison if he’s convicted on all of the charges.

While appearing in court on Tuesday (September 17), Diddy pleaded “not guilty” and his attorneys proposed that he be released on $50 million. The judge deemed Diddy a flight risk and expressed worries that he could intimidate witnesses if released from custody, so the bail request was denied. The appraised value of the home is about $48,000,000. b. The home is unencumbered.

In anticipation of this bail hearing, on August 20, 2024, Mr. Combs paid off the remaining mortgage of about $18,000,000 so that the home could be used to secure a bond and be free of a mortgage. d.
