After being sued by an anonymous man , Tony Buzbee hit back. The Texas lawyer previously announced a plan to file 120 lawsuits against Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs on behalf of his clients.

He has so far filed more than a dozen civil lawsuits. Diddy has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and pled not guilty in court. He admitted early on that there were more A-listers to be listed as defendants in addition to the rapper.

Plus, Buzbee made it clear that he would give them an opportunity to settle the matter privately before publicly filing the court papers. However, a self "high profile individual," who remained anonymous, filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, alleging the attorney is "shamelessly attempting to extort exorbitant sums from him," according to court documents obtained by The Mirror. Now, Buzbee is slamming the accusation, saying he won't be silenced.

Lawyer's sexual assault hotline receives 'unprecedented' number of calls since P Diddy arrest Diddy accusers' lawyer warns 'can't hide skeletons in the closet' and predicts 'texts are being deleted' In a statement to The Mirror, he said: “We won’t allow the powerful and their high-dollar lawyers to intimidate or silence sexual assault survivors.” Buzbee further called the legal complaint "without legal merit, it is laughable." He claimed his legal actions were the industry norm as he sent a "standard demand letter" to the high-profile John Doe's lawyer.

Buzbee said: "The letters were sent seeking a confidential mediation in lieu of filing a lawsuit. No amount of money was included in the demand letters. No threats were made.

The demand letters sent are no different than the ones routinely sent by lawyers across the country in all types of cases." The attorney slammed the lawsuit against him as "frivolous" and hit out at the implications it had against his character. "I am a US Marine," he said.

"I won't be silenced or intimidated. Neither will my clients." He expressed plans to disclose the demand letters when they move forward with the lawsuit, "since our professional efforts at resolution have failed," adding: "Abuse of the legal system unfortunately runs rampant.

The lawsuit filed against my firm is a prime example of that. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. I have confidence that with full public disclosure all of this will sort itself out.

" During a conversation with Harvey Levin, Buzbee explained his approach when it comes to settlements with high-profile figures. When asked if he'd threatened to file a lawsuit against a celebrity if they didn't settle in connection to the Diddy scandal, Buzbee said: "We have ..

. And then because it's in the best interest of the victim, we attempt to resolve these matters without the filing of a public lawsuit. And we have done that already.

We've done that." The Mirror contacted the legal team of the "high profile individual." DAILY NEWSLETTER: Sign up here to get the latest news and updates from the Mirror US straight to your inbox with our FREE newsletter.
