In a recent video, he claimed that her emotional turmoil following a breakup with a singer boyfriend may have played a significant role in the incident that altered the trajectory of her career. According to Lee, “There is strong reason to doubt Kim Sae Ron’s statement that she was dating Kim Soo Hyun until July 7, 2021 (As translated by Kbizoom),” suggesting instead that she was romantically involved with a singer, referred to only as ‘A,’ from early 2021 to May 2022. The YouTuber alleged that Kim and singer ‘A’ were effectively a public couple during that period, citing her anonymous support through coffee trucks and her presence at his events. Lee also claimed that messages confirmed she stayed overnight at the singer’s family home.
Lee Jin-ho went further, arguing that Kim’s DUI, which derailed her career, may have been indirectly triggered by the emotional fallout of this breakup. He said, “There’s reason to believe she canceled her dubbing session on May 17 due to heartbreak. That same night, she drank with a close friend from 4 AM to around 7:30 AM before getting behind the wheel.
” Kim was reportedly finishing her work on ‘Bloodhounds’ at the time and had a dubbing session scheduled, which she cancelled due to emotional distress. Hours later, she was caught driving under the influence. The video also showed a photo of a coffee truck that Kim allegedly sent to singer ‘A,’ bearing flirtatious messages like: “Are you really that sexy?” “This is what sexy looks like.

” Meanwhile, on April 9, and released another video claiming that both had been romantically involved with other people between 2016 and 2019. Lee showed clips allegedly taken on May 27, 2019, in which Kim is seen holding hands and possibly kissing a man. The YouTuber claimed that the video metadata confirmed the date.
However, Kim’s family quickly responded. They denied the allegations, stating through Sports Kyunghyang that she had spent the night of May 27 with a female friend and had contacted her mother before 1 AM to confirm her whereabouts. The family also provided phone records and videos from that night to counter Lee’s claims.
The video resurfaced another lingering controversy surrounding Kim’s relationship history and privacy. The family also previously filed a defamation lawsuit against Lee on March 17 and later lodged another complaint under the Anti-Stalking Act on March 27, citing continued harassment and public disclosure of private information despite legal warnings. Adding to the intrigue, Lee pointed out that Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, had sent coffee trucks to the set of ‘The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim’ in June 2021, during the same period Kim was allegedly involved with singer 'A.
