TV couple Dick and Angel Strawbridge found fame through the show Escape to the Chateau, but there is one thing that the television personalities 'regularly' argue about Dick Strawbridge has confessed that he and his wife Angel don't always see eye to eye when it comes to the size of their castle . The couple, who shot to fame on the hit series 'Escape to the Chateau' on Channel 4 , have been renovating their French castle for almost a decade, but can't agree on a simple detail - the number of rooms it contains. Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, Dick revealed: "We argue about this regularly, 50? It depends on your definition of a room.

" The Strawbridges live in the stunning Château de la Motte-Husson in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France, along with their two children. Dick, 65, also shared what drew them to their grand abode, saying: "To be fair, we'd tried for five years to find a chateau and when this one came on the market, everything on our checklist was here: orangery, walled gardens, turrets and land (12 acres)." He went on to disclose, "The one thing it didn't have was a conservatory, so in 2022, we built one.

" The pair, who married in 2015 - the same year they acquired the chateau - may preside over a vast 12-acre estate, yet Dick amusingly insists their home "isn't big", a comment he himself acknowledges as "a silly thing to say," reports the Express. He continued: "Our chateau isn't big - a silly thing to say when you look at the average home. When you see how it works, it's not a small house by any stretch, but all the rooms are in the right places.

"You go upstairs into the entrance hall; there's a dining hall on one side, a small kitchen, cloakroom, children's playroom, all in brilliant places. "The boot room downstairs (is my favourite room) being a country boy. Everybody brings things into the house through it and takes off wet coats and wellies.

"It's got fishing rods and gun racks. It's the most used room in the house. I've also got two workshops, three kitchens, all special places for me.
