Diamond tilak for Dadgusheth Ganapati

Pune: A diamond tilak estimated to be worth Rs1 crore was offered to the idol at Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati. The gesture was made by two devotees, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and Ricky Vasandani , both of whom are founders of a lab-grown diamond brand called Solitario . The 66-carat lab-grown diamond tilak has been placed on the idol's forehead as a tilak.

The two also performed aarti at the temple. Oberoi said, “We sought Bappa’s blessings during the aarti. We started with humble beginnings in Pune and have now scaled to over seven countries and 21 cities across the globe.
