He shared that biometric attendance systems are being installed across all government departments, with full-scale implementation planned for the entire division soon. Commissioner Chaudhary shared encouraging news: following a recent drop in wheat prices, the government is working on reducing bread prices. “This initiative is a top priority of the Punjab government to provide meaningful relief to the underprivileged,” he said.

Under the City Beautification Program, 56 projects are currently underway across the division, including 12 focused specifically on DG Khan city. “Once completed, these projects will transform the city into a true reflection of its beauty – Dera Phullan Da Sehra,” he remarked. Measures have been introduced to stop truck parking on busy roads, and anti-encroachment drives are ongoing. The commissioner urged shopkeepers and residents to support these efforts. Responding to public grievances remains a top priority, he emphasized.

“Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners across the division have been strictly instructed to avoid delays and ensure every citizen visiting a government office is heard and helped. Public service is a responsibility, not a favour,” he said. The commissioner reported marked improvements under the Clean Punjab initiative.
