A 6-foot-7, decorated FCS offensive lineman and a Syracuse WR related to Za'Darius Smith were Detroit's first undrafted rookie signings.

ALLEN PARK -- Don’t blink, because reports of undrafted players signings are already pouring in as the 2025 NFL draft comes to a close. This post will track the Detroit Lions and their movement on market for undrafted free agents. Make sure to hit refresh, because this post will update throughout the night and into Sunday morning.

We’ll include a scouting report on each signing and any other notable information, including reported guaranteed money and bonuses. The Lions were active after the draft last year. They committed $225,000 in guarantees and a $15,000 signing bonus to Isaiah Williams.

The wide receiver made the roster out of training camp, but was released early in the season and has since landed with the Cincinnati Bengals. Williams was the big name to land in Detroit after the 2024 draft. But three players from that group of signings remain on the roster, including linebacker DaRon Gilbert, long snapper Hogan Hatten and edge rusher Isaac Ukwu.

See below for our updated tracker of Detroit’s undrafted free agent signings: Mason Miller, OT, North Dakota State: The Lions drafted two nasty guards this weekend. And they aren’t done adding to the trenches, making North Dakota State offensive lineman Mason Miller their first addition after the draft ended. Miller was a first-team FCS All-American for the Associated Press and Walter Camp while winning a national championship last season.

He started all 16 games at right tackle for the Bison in 2024. He started 15 games the previous season, with three at right tackle and 12 at left guard. Miller is listed at 6-foot-7, 306 pounds with a near-83-inch wingspan.

He comes from the FCS level, but he’s played on that stage’s brightest lights and started a ton of games between tackle and guard. Shoutout to my guy MASON MILLER for a great Pro Day at NDSU!! He started off the day STRONG with 29 reps on bench!! 29 reps would tie him for 6th most among ALL NFL Combine participants, not just OL 💪 pic.twitter.

com/P5aF4xCfOd Jackson Meeks, WR, Syracuse: Jackson Meeks broke out after transferring from Georgia to Syracuse. After only 132 yards across three seasons at Georgia, Meeks had 1,021 yards and seven touchdowns in Syracuse’s high-powered passing attack. The 6-foot-2, 213-pound receiver is the nephew of recently released Lions edge rusher Za’Darius Smith, too.

The Lions also drafted two receivers in the draft. They took Arkansas wideout and Michigan native Isaac TeSlaa in the third round, then grabbed Georgia’s Dominic Lovett in the seventh round. NFL Network reports Meeks got $200,000 guaranteed and a $20,000 signing bonus to sign with the Lions.
