Destiny 2 Revenant Act 2 arrives today as servers expected to go down ahead of launch

switch to 'Episodes' rather than seasonal updates perhaps hasn't been as strong as Bungie had hoped, but after Episode 1: Echoes came out earlier this year, we're now into the vampire hunting Episode 2: Revenant. We've been battling Scorn across the system, but Act 2 will bring us back to a very familiar place for longtime Destiny fans - the Prison of Elders. While it's not quite the same as it was, players will need their wits and best weapons to work their way to the treasure chest at the end.

There's plenty more included, too, so here's a rundown of everything coming with Destiny 2 Revenant Act 2. As is often the case, Destiny's next patch will arrive at the same time as the weekly reset, when the game's activities rotate. That means players can expect Revenant Act 2 at 5PM GMT/ 10AM PDT/ 1PM EDT today (Tuesday, November 19).



Expect the servers to go down ahead of its launch, and you can likely expect a delay as people queue to log in. As always, there are a whole host of sandbox changes for weapons, abilities, and more. , but the team at Blueberries.

gg has also published the inforgraphic above. Aside from that, this week sees the arrival of several new features. This repeatable activity has roguelike ambitions, and will get players running the Prison of Elders gauntlet for the first time in D2.

Tomb of Elders will feature new modifiers, enemy types, and the chance to show off new weapons. We know of the following new weapons so far: A new exotic, Slayer's Fang, is coming in January with the third act of Revenant. The new artifact mods are as follows: Coming to the store are new Street Fighter collabs, including Ghost Shells, emotes, and perhaps most excitingly of all, Finishers.
