Deshaun Watson's Situation With Cleveland Browns Just Became More Complicated

Deshaun Watson has a complicated situation in Cleveland.

The Cleveland Browns' offense has failed to score more than 17 points in each of their first three games this season. Deshaun Watson and the passing attack have struggled, and an injury update on Monday is more cause for concern in Week 4. Per Mike Garafolo with the NFL Netowrk, Browns' head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed All-Pro guard Wyatt Teller is set to miss multiple weeks and could go on injured reserve this week due to a Grade 2 MCL sprain.

Per Garafolo: "All-Pro G Wyatt Teller suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain on Sunday against the Giants and is expected to miss around four weeks, source says. Kevin Stefanski said today Teller could land on IR, which would sideline him for the rough expected timeline for his return." #Browns All-Pro G Wyatt Teller suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain on Sunday against the #Giants and is expected to miss around four weeks, source says.

Watson's production has suffered with those hits. He's 67-of-116 passing for 551 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Things aren't going to be easy for Watson and the Browns' offensive line in Week 4.

The 1-2 Browns will travel to play the 1-2 Las Vegas Raiders, and will face one of the league's best pass rushers in Maxx Crosby. Many Cleveland fans and some in the media are calling for Watson to be benched after the slow start ( amid new sexual assault allegations, which he has denied). Those calls could amplify if the offense struggles against a Raiders team that allowed 36 points to Andy Dalton and Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Teller's injury won't make it easier for Watson to rebound. But then again, would the pass protection be good enough for backup quarterback Jameis Winston to jumpstart the offense?.
