Dense Fog Advisory, T-Storms

Areas of dense fog into this evening near Lake Erie, also a few isolated thunderstorms.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The rest of Saturday will be mild and damp with occasional showers and thunderstorms.

RELATED: Storm Team 2 Weather Forecast An area of stronger storms moved through central Erie county late morning into earlier this afternoon with gusty winds to 60 mph as they moved quickly to the northeast. The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Erie county was allowed to expire. There were a couple wind damage storm reports of a few trees and wires down in Elma Center and Angola from that stronger storm earlier.



Areas of fog developing as well. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for Erie and Chautauqua counties, for areas near the Lake Erie shoreline until 8pm Saturday evening. Visibility could drop to one quarter mile at times.

Showers and thunderstorms with possibly gusty winds will settle south and become more isolated throughout the second half of the day into the early evening. Most areas will then be drying out by mid to later evening, and it will turn cooler with clearing skies later tonight behind the cold front, low in the upper 30s. Easter Sunday looks like a good one with plenty of sun and seasonable temperatures.

Highs will be in the low to mid 50s..
