Dennis Padilla’s claim that his mother was crying at Claudia Barretto’s wedding earned the reaction of his ex-wife, Marjorie Barretto. Unfortunately, the private and intimate wedding ceremony of Marjorie Barretto’s daughter, Claudia Barretto, with her long-time boyfriend, Basti Lorenzo, is surrounded by a lot of issues now. The opinions started flooding online after Dennis Padilla claimed that he was treated as “visitor” and not as father of the bride at the wedding.
The claim of Dennis earned Julia, Claudia, and Leon Barretto a lot of bashing. Even Marjorie Barretto was criticized for the alleged way that she raised their children. In an interview with Ogie Diaz, the actor-comedian claimed that the events at the wedding ceremony allegedly hurt not only him but also his mother a lot.
The actor-comedian came to the wedding with his mother, Lina, and brother, Eugene. According to him, they did not attend the reception as too much has allegedly happened at the wedding ceremony. He stressed that he was not able to walk Claudia down the aisle and he was also not assigned on a seat that is specifically for the father of the bride.
Dennis Padilla claimed that his mother was allegedly crying as she was deeply hurt for how they were treated at Claudia’s wedding. Recently, in an interview with Ogie Diaz, Marjorie Barretto reacted to the claim of Dennis Padilla that his mother was crying and was not treated well at the wedding of Claudia.
She called her “Mama Lina” as she respects her “mother-in-law” despite their separation. According to Marjorie, Dennis’ mother did not cry at all and she asked the wedding coordinator about his claim. She stressed that her ex-husband did not even sit beside his mother at the wedding.
