Dennis Padilla comforts brother Gene amid bashing: ‘Wala kang mali’

Image: Facebook/Gene Padilla Dennis Padilla appealed to netizens to spare his brother Gene Padilla from “bashing” after the latter, who was apparently not invited but attended the wedding of the former’s daughter Claudia Barretto, was criticized for meddling in the former’s feud with his children. Dennis expressed his concern for Gene after the latter spoke on his Instagram page on Monday, April 14, about how he is choosing love and peace amid the “hurtful things” he has been receiving.

Gene did not immediately respond to his brother. Dennis has been making headlines after he attended the recent wedding of Claudia and her longtime boyfriend Basti Lorenzo, then claimed that he was treated as a “visitor” and not the father of the bride. Gene supported Dennis’ rant and called out Claudia as well as her siblings Julia and Leon for supposedly disrespecting their father and being “full of riches and fame.

” Dennis then declared that he was permanently cutting ties with Claudia, Julia and Leon, his children with Marjorie Barretto. Marjorie later made a tell-all and belied Dennis’ claim of visitor treatment by showing photos from the wedding. Dennis has yet to respond to Marjorie’s statement.
