Amid the ongoing Jio Hotstar domain row, the techie who bought the site and sought funding for his Cambridge education dream has dropped what seems to be a final update on the portal addressing “ the people of the internet. ” He is worried about the legal trouble ahead and all allegations of IP and domain squatting. While expressing his gratitude to some of the best legal minds from India and abroad who reached out to him in solidarity, the techie remarks that his parents are now ‘super super worried.

’ He quips, “Itna bhi viral nahi hona tha yaar.” “ Shayad legal battle fir bhi handle ho jaega ,” he adds, “ bhai saab maa baap ko samjhana is so difficult. ” The Delhiite notes, “ Great kalesh today ,” remarking on the uproar in the house.

He surmises the advice, stating there is no clear answer until a court intervenes and pronounces a verdict. The lad remarks that he is the legitimate owner of the domain and can’t be forced to give up; however, he might if there’s a legal notice.

Nonetheless, the app developer is also hoping in earnest that Reliance shows him compassion out of festive goodwill and thereby “ meri Diwali bhi badhiya ho jaye .” The lad further clarifies that he is no hacker, as few had assumed. “I wish I was,” he writes, adding, “ pretty disheartening but hota hai .

" He is still hopeful that another opportunity will strike for his Cambridge education, for which he had earlier sought about 95K GBP, equivalent to about Rs 1 crore. Yeah! Education is super expensive. He further hopes that someone outside the continent buys the domain from him for 1/10th of the original asking price.

“This site will go offline soon ,” he concludes on the note at his site with a “ bye by e.” See Also : Techie Bought Jio Hotstar Domain Before Jio-Disney Deal; Demands Reliance To Fund Higher Studies For Sale.
