
Voting for the Delhi Assembly Elections will begin at 7 a.m. today, February 5.
The results will be announced on February 8. The national capital will elect its new government by voting on all 70 assembly seats today. The contest in Delhi is three-cornered, with the Aam Aadmi Party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress in the fray in the 2025 Delhi elections.
Arvind Kejriwal's AAP is fighting to retain power for the third consecutive time, while the BJP has not been in power for 27 years in the national capital. The Congress which ruled Delhi for 15 years, is contesting to reclaim its lost control over Delhi assembly. People in Delhi can vote between 7 am and 6 pm on Wednesday.
The voting will take place across all 70 assembly seats of Delhi. As many as 1,55,37,634 voters will choose among 699 candidates. One can go to the Election Commission's website (https://electoralsearch.
eci.gov.in/) to check if they are enrolled in the voter list.
