Delays as police block off one lane on dual carriageway

Commuters are facing rush hour delays after police cordoned off part of the A666. Motorists reported a car had broken down in lane one on St Peter's Way just before the Little Lever turn off heading into Bolton. One driver told The Bolton News : "There are about 20 minutes of delays.

" Inrix, the highways information states: "Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to broken down vehicle on A666 St Peters Way Northbound at M61 (Kearsley roundabout).".
